Microsoft recently released
new
Live.com and
Start.com sites as
part of their Windows Live initiative. A main objective of Windows Live is to allow
anyone to easily design and customize a web page so that everyting you want is
located in one place exactly the way you want it.
The
Live.com and
Start.com sites
are examples of how Window Live might work, and both sites use Gadgets to make the
pages easily customized with a broad range of functionality. To encourage development
of Windows Live Gadgets, Microsoft published a public API and makes gadgets available
on their
MicrosoftGadgets.com site.
We integrated our Site-In-Site platform with the Microsoft
Live Gadget API, and all Site-In-Site products and services now also work
on any web sites that support Microsoft Live Gadgets (
like
Live.com and
Start.com). Our
Amazon mini is now available as a Microsoft Gadget. We also released an RSS Reader Gadget
and an MSN Search Gadget. To dowload and use our Site-In-Site Gadgets, visit
the
MicrosoftGadgets.com site.
Our Amazon mini Gadget looks and works exactly like the Amazon
mini in the right column of this page. Additional information about our other
Site-In-Site Gadgets is summarized below:
